We review every application personally and respond within 7 business days. If there's a fit, we'll invite you to a 45-minute discovery call.

We take no upfront fees and no equity. Instead, we agree a percentage of your gross revenue, typically 8–18%, depending on build complexity and support intensity. That share activates only once your product generates its first dollar of revenue. The rate is locked at contract signing and cannot be renegotiated upward. We look for four things: deep domain expertise (typically 5+ years in a specific industry), a clearly defined real-world problem (not a general category), the ability to manage and sell (you don't need to code, but you need to be able to run a team and reach customers), and full-time commitment. We invest our full team in your company and need the same energy in return. We are deliberately selective. We take fewer companies than we could so each one gets our full attention.

Yes. While AlphaMakina is headquartered in Toronto, our studio engagements are primarily remote and we work with founders across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In-person meetings are available in Toronto and London for key milestones. Founders outside these regions are welcome to apply.

The simplest path is to send the founder directly to our Apply page and ask them to mention your name in the application. We treat all referrals with care and respond to every introduction within 2 business days.
